There’s this video Karen Olivo made over a month ago (supposedly) for fuckyeahkarenolivo that i’ve only seen now. I feel so inutil and very stupid. Anyway, it’s about the shoe contest we did over at the blog and she sounds and looks so genuinely grateful for all of the entries and all of the wonderful things she read from you. You guys made her very very happy! I wanna hug all of you in the neck. Seriously. She said she didn’t know she actually made that much of an impact to people until she read the stories you shared, and your entries inspired her to do better in her craft. What a sweetheart. Oh, she looks so pretty, too. She always does, though.
Anyway, I really really wanna share the video to all of you but I have no idea how I could download it from facebook. Ugh. I can gif it, but the video is still so much better because you can hear the tone of her voice and how genuinely grateful she sounds. I’LL FIND WAYS. I love this woman. So much. It hurts.
You can try online facebook video downloaders. Like facebookvideodown.com :) Good luck and hoping to see the video soon.
From a mob of screaming fangirls and fanboys, Lin pointed at us and said “I gotta meet these guys ‘coz they scare me” (seriously. I scared myself, too. I was not aware of my serious fangirling capability up until last night. lol) He signed my Heights playbill and flyer and we had our photo taken (I look like a midget beside him. Oh wait, I look like a midget beside anyone!) and he was like “I’m expecting some serious Tumblr fanarts out of this” and I was like, “Dood, pare, do you remember the Book of Mormon-In The Heights crossover illustration?” and he was like, “Yeah!”, and I was like, “I made that. lolololol”, and he said “Oh! I love that!!” and then he got mobbed by people again and I just lied dead on the cold pavement of RCBC. Good times.
And then there was the awkward elevator moment afterwards that I’m sure y’all already know about. Last night was so so crazy. I love it.
